Game Development for Imagine Cup 10

Last year I competed in the Game Development competition of Imagine Cup and went to Semi-finals. But, getting into the Finals was very tough as only 6 teams were selected out of 150 and I didnt do well enough to get into the Finals.

Imagine Cup 10 was announced a long back and I started developing my game for that today. My team members will be Karthik. K, Makesh. K, Yuvaraj. S and myself, Saiyasodharan. R...

Our game will be like a city simulation game that inculcates the importance of Clean City Development. We not yet named our game and we will soon select a cool name and announce it soon...

Till then

I am New to Embedded Programming

Gopi desperately needed some Embedded Programmers for his shop, as he got some new contracts. So, he asked whether I know embedded Programming. I have absolutely zero knowledge in that field. But, because of his push, I started reading the PIC Microcontrollers and MikroC.

After a bit of Introductory Concepts from Palanivel, an expert in Embedded Systems and also a friend of Gopi, I started doing small programs in MikroC. I successfully completed a Program to display numbers in a 7 segment display and increment the numbers after each second using the Microcontroller, PIC16F84A. For designing the circuits, I use the Circuit Simulation Software, Proteus and for programming I use MikroC Pro for PIC.
